ChemDAQ Introduces SafeCide™ Chemical Intervention Safety Monitor for Peracetic Acid at IPPE.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 15, 2016 -- ChemDAQ Inc., the leader in environmental monitoring systems for Peracetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Ethylene Oxide announced the launch of SafeCide™, a new portable real-time safety monitor designed for area sample monitoring. The technology is tablet based, works with Bluetooth technology, and ChemDAQ’s patent-pending peracetic acid sensor. ChemDAQ will debut the monitor at the upcoming IPPE conference at the Atlanta Georgia World Congress Center January 26th-28th, 2016 at their booth #8602 in Hall B.
David Hilliker, CEO of ChemDAQ states, “Food safety requires chemical Intervention as an essential part of meat and poultry processing to ensure a safe product is delivered to the public. The use of chemicals such as peracetic acid, however, are not without their hazards. As an industry under scrutiny from OSHA, it is imperative that processors remain current with the latest safety technology available to protect their workers. In addition, productivity will increase with a portable, real time monitor to assess and manage workers’ PAA exposure concerns”.
SafeCide™ is a complimentary product to ChemDAQ’s Steri-Trac® Continuous Monitoring system. The device is also designed to capture data which is then stored in a CSV file for further data analysis and logging over time. The robust design was engineered specifically for poultry and meat producers. ChemDAQ’s Monitoring Systems allows processors to maintain the highest safety standards in the industry.
