Einhorn Harris Cases Among the Top 25 Settlements in New Jersey in 2015

The firm was recently featured in the publication for two cases of distinction:
Good vs. Castro, number 8 of the State’s largest settlements last year, settled in the amount of $2,250,000. This case found that a bus swerved into the lane of an oncoming van resulting in a collision. Litigation discovery eventually revealed that the Defendant had eight previous accidents.
Lauvanis vs. Port Authority of New York, number 15 on the list, settled for $1,225,000 for injuries the plaintiff sustained while working as a signal person for a shipping company at its facility at Newark International Airport. The case found that the Airport should have warned of the danger of loaders. Prior to trial, the parties agreed to mediate and resolved the matter in its entirety for the amount of $1.2M.
