Elizabeth Spenceri, M.D., Joins Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers’ Leawood, Kansas Practice
Overland Park, KS (PRWEB) March 04, 2016 -- Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers announced today the addition of Elizabeth Spenceri, M.D. to the practice’s Leawood, Kansas and Overland Park locations. Dr. Spenceri is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon.

As a new member to the practice, Dr. Spenceri will continue to focus on her expertise in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and other advanced reconstruction surgeries that deliver cosmetic results after skin cancer removal.
As a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, she continues to explore new treatment modalities, including advanced wound reconstruction, and volunteers her services at skin cancer screenings. She is also native to Kansas City and received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After serving an internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, she completed her residency in dermatology at Saint Louis University. Dr. Spenceri continued her medical education by pursuing a one-year advanced fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, she has received additional training in advanced wound reconstruction.
The addition of Dr. Spenceri is part of an overall growth strategy for Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
