Mark McCarthy Joins KSQ Design as Principal, National Design Director
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 23, 2016 -- KSQ Design is pleased to announce that Mark McCarthy recently joined the firm’s New York office as principal and national design director. In this role, Mark will provide design leadership to the firm across seven offices and markets that include higher education, K12 schools, multifamily housing, healthcare and senior living.
With more than 25 years of design expertise, Mark brings a diverse point of view and commitment to design excellence to the firm. His background includes working as an artist, graphic designer, and New York City public school teacher before pursuing architecture. Mark holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY New Paltz and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
Most recently, Mark was a principal at Perkins Eastman in New York City, where he served as lead designer on such notable projects as the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics at Stony Brook University, Dream Charter School in Harlem and Cairo American College in Cairo, Egypt.
