Penta Security Systems Inc. Launches Cloudbric Business Edition
Seoul, South Korea (PRWEB) March 23, 2016 -- Penta Security Systems Inc. today announced the launch of a new enterprise Cloud WAF solution known as Cloudbric Business Edition. This positions Penta Security as one of the only WAF vendors capable of integrating its high performance web security technology into any cloud based or other server environments, including physical or bare metal servers.
Penta Security’s award winning ICSA Labs certified Web Application Firewall, WAPPLES, is recognized as the number one WAF in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. WAPPLES is powered by its patented Logic Analysis Engine that detects web attacks at a higher accuracy rate with low false positives when compared to its industry competitors. For over 11 years, Penta Security has provided hardware based web application security solutions. In early 2015, Penta Security created a service oriented WAF solution called Cloudbric (based on WAPPLES technology). Cloudbric’s WAF service provides enterprise level monitoring, maintenance, and filtering of web attacks for all small and medium sized businesses.
With the release of Cloudbric Business Edition, enterprise clients residing on physical or cloud based server environments will now be able to seamlessly install Cloudbric’s elite web security capabilities into their internal network infrastructure. Cloudbric Business Edition is deployed via two distinct distribution models. The first distribution model (service model) allows service providers, such as web hosting companies, to disseminate Cloudbric’s enterprise level WAF security to their end users. Cloudbric will provide all monitoring and maintenance of end user web traffic, which helps enterprise clients maintain a clean network infrastructure, eliminates security related customer support requests, and increases overall brand trust through an emphasis on web security. The second distribution model (product model) allows enterprise clients to independently monitor, maintenance, and filter all malicious attacks using Cloudbric technology. Cloudbric will provide enterprise clients the proper training, implementation, and licensing of its WAF as a self-managing product.
“There is a growing need for security vendors to provide easy to manage, cost effective, and ready to deploy web security solutions for their customers. By developing a WAF solution that is able to fully customize its detection technology, Penta Security’s enterprise clients can now reap the benefits of using Cloudbric Business Edition regardless of whether they are running on a physical or cloud based server environment,” said TJ Jung, VP of Product & Technology for Cloudbric.
