Auberge du Soleil with BottleRock and Mercedes-Benz, to Stage Dinner and Concert Benefiting Do It For The Love Foundation
Rutherford, California (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 -- Auberge du Soleil, BottleRock and Mercedes Benz USA today announced the Second Annual Do It For The Love (DIFTL) Benefit Dinner and Concert, Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Auberge du Soleil. The event, limited to just 150 guests, and priced at $1,000 per person, will include an exclusive evening of cocktails, food, wine and music. The centerpiece of the evening will include a live performance by Do It For The Love Foundation founder and musician, Michael Franti, on the hotel’s picturesque terrace overlooking the Napa Valley.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Do It For The Love Foundation, a non-profit wish-granting organization that brings people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges, and wounded veterans to live concerts. Founded in 2013 by Franti and ER nurse Sara Agah Franti, the foundation has granted more than 500 wishes working with a variety of musicians including Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Carrie Underwood, Andy Grammer, and many more. Do It For The Love’s goal is to inspire joy, hope and lasting celebratory memories in the face of severe illness or trauma. Mercedes-Benz USA will serve as the primary sponsor for the event. Tickets are available now at EventBrite.com.
The hotel will close its Michelin-Star Restaurant and Bistro & Bar for the evening to host the private event. The festivities will begin with a cocktail reception with Michael Franti in the Restaurant. Later, guests will enter the hotel’s private dining level, transformed by Brite Event Rentals, for a lavish dinner party prepared by Auberge du Soleil Executive Chef Robert Curry. The menu will feature an array of food stations and chef action stations that showcase the kitchen’s commitment to locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, as well as custom cocktails from Double-Cross Vodka and Casamigos Tequila, and an extensive selection of wines from Domaine Anderson, Duckhorn Vineyards and Huneeus Vineyards. Riedel, The Wine Glass Company, will provide the official stemware for the event. Following dinner, Michael Franti and Friends will treat the audience to an outdoor sunset concert on the terrace. After the performance, guests will enjoy an After-Party Bubble Lounge with sparkling wines from Roederer Estate and house-made sweet treats from Auberge du Soleil Pastry Chef Paul Lemieux.
“We are honored to play a role in supporting the heartfelt and inspirational work of the Do It For The Love Foundation,” said George Goeggel, Auberge du Soleil Managing Partner. “We are grateful to the BottleRock team and to Mercedes-Benz for making this event possible so that we may bring music, food and wine lovers together to benefit this great cause.”
