Vollrath Company Showcases Latest Smallwares and Equipment Innovations at National Restaurant Association Show
Sheboygan, WI (PRWEB) May 19, 2016 -- Vollrath Company, a leading manufacturer of foodservice equipment and smallwares for the foodservice industry, will give attendees an exclusive opportunity to view and demo its newest products and innovations at the highly anticipated National Restaurant Association® (NRA) Show, held from May 21-24 in Chicago, Illinois at McCormick Place.
Vollrath, already known for its robust product line of high quality products in each of the prep, cook and serve categories, will exhibit new product solutions designed to help foodservice operators enhance guest experiences, reduce costs and increase profitability.
Food Prep Equipment. Ideal for a catering business, restaurant, deli, or supermarket, Vollrath's new line-up of Italian designed and engineered Electric Slicers includes a slicer suited for virtually any need. The medium-duty slicers are designed to save counter space, while the deluxe deli-style slicer is designed to continuously slice meats and cheeses in high-volume operations. Each of the high-quality slicers are belt-driven with built-in sharpeners designed and manufactured to NSF/ANSI 8 standards for leading performance and durability. Vollrath’s NRA Show demo kitchen will include demonstrations of the 12” heavy-duty electric slicer on Sunday during a presentation by Jonny Hunter, owner of the Underground Food Collective in Madison, Wisconsin.
Countertop Cooking Equipment. Vollrath’s Induction Wok Range, which combines the high-efficiency benefit of induction technology with the performance of its gas counterpart, features 100 power settings and a turbo button for immediate, fast heat, offering precise cooking control. Demonstrations of the wok will take place during the show in Vollrath’s demo kitchen by internationally recognized chefs. The wok can be used as a countertop unit, or a drop-in unit with the optional Induction Wok Drop-In Template, a stainless steel template accessory (sold separately).
Countertop Warming and Display. Providing an upscale, aesthetically pleasing look to Vollrath’s popular Mirage® Drop-In Induction Rethermalizers and Warmers, the new Stainless Steel Decorative Ring is an easy-to-install accessory. The durable 22 gauge stainless steel ring provides an alternative to the black plastic exterior ring that comes standard on both the 7 quart and 11 quart drop-in rethermalizers and warmers.
Showcase product from all angles with Vollrath’s redesigned bakery cases that feature half-inch clear acrylic for enhanced product merchandising. The soft-down hinge construction allows for easy self-service and the individual front access doors help prevent contamination. Each model comes with clear 18” x 26” trays and is designed to fit on standard countertops with 23” depth. They are available with one, two or three shelves. The bakery case design includes a convenient storage area below the case – ideal for bags, wax paper or boxes. LED lighting and mirror doors are optional package accessory selections.
Frozen Treat Equipment. With a small footprint and portable, lightweight design, the Stoelting® Mini Soft Serve Countertop Freezer is ideal for small restaurants, delis, bakeries, food trucks and convenience stores looking to expand their frozen and cold dispensed beverage offerings, while saving valuable counter space. Operable with both commercial dry and liquid mixes, the Mini Soft Serve Freezer can make a variety of high profit margin frozen treats including ice milk, ice cream, frozen yogurt and frozen dietary desserts.
Cookware/Bakeware. Ideal for use as a single meal serving tray, the new One-Eighth Size Sheet Pan joins a family of Vollrath sheet pans made in America with 16 gauge, 3000 series aluminum. Known for its even heat distribution, durability, dent resistance and easy cleaning properties, the Vollrath sheet pans are also available in full, two-thirds, half and quarter sizes. The full size, half size, and quarter size also come with clear snap fit polypropylene covers designed to allow easy viewing and 90 degree stacking rotation.
Kitchen Essentials. A natural line extension to Vollrath’s recently introduced Ice Cream Scoops, the new Ice Cream Spade features an extended length handle (10.175” overall) that allows the operator to easily reach far inside ice cream tubs and gelato pans. The handle is encapsulated with anti-freeze, which aids in releasing the ice cream from the bowl. It also has a hole in the handle for convenient storage. Made of durable cast aluminum, the NSF certified ice cream spade is ideal for scraping down the sides of ice cream pails and smoothing off the top layer of ice cream for serving.
Buffet and Tabletop. The newest addition to the Miramar® Display Cookware line of products is a four-inch deep version of the 12-inch Oval Au Gratin Pan. This pan features a full mirror finish and provides an opportunity to double the serving capacity of the very popular 2” deep 12" Au Gratin Pan, fitting in the same templates. Whether it is a new installation or an additional pan to an existing operation, this new pan offers flexibility during high traffic and low traffic day parts.
