U.S. CAD Invests in BIM Resources and Events as Part of Commitment to the Las Vegas Region
Newport Beach, California (PRWEB) May 25, 2016 -- U.S. CAD today announces the relocation of a senior technical specialist to its Las Vegas office, a move that will allow the BIM technology consulting firm to better meet rising demand for AEC resources in the region.
“We are seeing a consistent increase in building, construction, and infrastructure projects in Las Vegas, a growth that requires careful investment in technology, software, and people,” states Daniel J. Counts, CEO of U.S. CAD. “As an Autodesk Platinum Partner and BIM solutions consultant located here, U.S. CAD is dedicated to helping our customers maximize their Autodesk software investment by providing consulting, technical support, implementation, and training services.”
Starting in June 2016, Tim Long, a U.S. CAD Senior Technical Specialist, will be available for consultations with local design and engineering firms in Nevada. Prior to joining U.S. CAD, Tim served as an Autodesk Certified Trainer and Support and Implementation Specialist for AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Map 3D, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD LT. In his role at U.S. CAD, Tim helps clients evaluate workflows, standards, and reporting processes in order to improve project results.
“We are excited about this strategic relocation,” explains U.S. CAD’s Director of Professional Services, Chris Keck. “Tim’s civil infrastructure experience in both the public and private sectors will prove invaluable to the firms in this area. Now, as an infrastructure industry leader based in Las Vegas, Tim will gain an in-depth perspective of the region’s businesses and stay on top of trends and projects that can affect our clients and the local industry directly.”
With this new move, Tim Long will be joining Gerald Garrett, an MEP and Revit technical expert, in leading U.S. CAD’s Las Vegas events, including the Nevada Infrastructure User Group, Revit User Group, and monthly complimentary online webinars called Infrastructure Tuesday and Workflow Wednesday.
