Hillphoenix Showcases Destination Center Merchandising and Equipment at FMI Connect 2016

Hillphoenix will kick off the conference by presenting “5 Insightful Tips in Establishing Your In-Store Dining and Growing Your Fresh & Prepared Business” at the FMI Executive Leadership Forum on Monday, June 20.
Inside the Hillphoenix booth 2422, visitors can attend a rotating schedule of culinary destination center demonstrations including:
• Cracked Egg Concept: This fresh breakfast concept lends itself to fresh, unique breakfast items complete with egg baskets and succulent, rich steamers made with frothed milk and spices guaranteed to tempt all of your customer’s five senses!
• Ladle Concept: Join us for lunch at Ladle for flavorful and deliciously made bao and noodle bowls. Wash it down with a chilled glass of fresh, fruit-infused tea guaranteed to quench your thirst and delight your taste buds.
• Ibiza Concept: Elevate your dinner daypart with a fresh bar, complete with fresh beverages concocted from extracted fresh juices and homemade, mouth-watering desserts.
• Muffa Concept: Fresh made muffulettas with a Chicago twist lend a regional appeal to snack time. Learn how personalizing a favorite food item to suit your consumer market makes menu items more appealing and likeable.
On Wednesday, June 22, Jack Sjogren, Hillphoenix Design Center specialist and Kelly Sayko, product marketing manager, Hillphoenix Case Division, will present “Creating Fresh Destinations Throughout the Perimeter.” During this FMI Connect Educational session attendees will learn how to take advantage of growing opportunities in creating innovative fresh destination centers in traditional perimeter space.
As part of the Supermarket Chef program, on Wednesday, June 22, Kelly Sayko and Jack Sjogren will present “How to Make the Grocerant Concept Real for You,” an interactive presentation where attendees will learn how to transform a prepared foods department into a grocerant that serves craveable foods to capture and retain today’s shopper.
On Thursday, June 23, the Retail Dining, Culinary and Design Trends Tour will kick off at the Hillphoenix booth. The program will begin with an overview of the latest trends in store design, including lighting, efficient space design and display equipment. Then attendees will visit three of downtown Chicago’s leading retail food establishments: Mariano’s, Eataly, and Whole Foods Market. Registration is required and space is limited.
Hillphoenix will also have a booth at The Global Cold Chain Expo (Booth #1323, co-located with FMI Connect) where attendees can attend Tech Talks and educational sessions focusing on the application of CO2 transcritical systems to the global food industry cold chain.
