Connecticut School of Broadcasting/Miami Grad Moves Up to IHeart Media Producer
Miami- Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) June 24, 2016 -- Roy Perez worked as a Comcast Installation Tech in the Miami area for many years, so he knew he was good with his hands and technology. People always told Roy that he had a great personality and should think about a career in entertainment. And he did. Roy dreamed of being a radio on air talent so much, that he decided to enroll at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting’s Miami campus. After graduation, he immediately got a job in Radio Promotions for Lincoln Financial Media, which later became Entercom, where Roy worked Miami Heat games for 790 The Ticket and worked great concerts for other stations like Lite FM, Magic, The Shark and The Beach. But that was just Roy’s beginning!
Just recently, Perez became part of the iHeartMedia team where he produces the Miami Marlins games and works for Y100 and other great Miami stations. This Connecticut School of Broadcasting Miami overachiever also provides play-by-play for Roger Dean Stadium and International Power Showcase at Marlins Park. How does he handle so many responsibilities and still be a great Dad and Husband? “I’ve had to sacrifice time away from my family to attend Connecticut School of Broadcasting Miami classes and work my way up in the industry, but working towards my dream is all for them!”
