Global Special Operations Forces (SOF) Foundation announces new partnership programs
(PRWEB) August 10, 2016 -- The Global Special Operations Forces Foundation (GSF)--the only professional association for the special operations community worldwide--is pleased to announce two additional partnership levels: Academic Partner and "SOF for Life" Partner.
First, universities, think tanks, and other non-profit educational institutions are now eligible to enjoy the benefits of Academic Partnership with the GSF, to include 25 individual student memberships, event registration and sponsorship discounts, access to the GSF membership directory, and the ability to publish articles relevant to special operations research in the GSF newsletter and blog.
Second, the GSF has implemented a "SOF for Life" Partnership program in which companies are able to distribute job postings to current and former SOF personnel who are seeking employment through the GSF's "SOF for Life" resume database. The GSF hosts an online resume database of former special operations personnel who are looking for civilian employment. These warriors are their nation's finest--trained at the highest levels and able to provide unparalleled leadership. We've already seen success in getting former SOF hired by top companies, and the GSF's "open rate" for its job postings emails is over 60%.
Launched in 2014, the GSF is the only organization dedicated to educating national leaders and policy makers about the roles and capabilities of SOF, advocating for improvements in global SOF interoperability and capability, and expanding and strengthening the global network of SOF partners in support of collective security. The GSF is comprised of uniformed service members from more than 50 nations, non-uniformed civil servants, corporate industry partners, experts from academia and think tanks, and other stakeholders in the global SOF community.
