EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016: World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration Starts Monday
Oshkosh, Wisconsin (PRWEB) July 22, 2016 -- More than 10,000 aircraft and half-a-million flight enthusiasts will make Wittman Regional Airport the busiest airfield in the world during EAA’s annual AirVenture Oshkosh from July 25 to 31. Visitors from 80 countries, many of whom fly in, will take in daily air shows, like the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and a Tora! Tora! Tora! show commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Along with an airfield filled with aircraft of all sizes, shapes and eras, AirVenture delivers myriad of unique aviation-based activities: KidVenture; WomenVenture; a drone cage; flight experiences; a nightly “fly-in” theater; and access to EAA AirVenture Museum.
"Oshkosh really is the site of aviation’s family reunion. Whatever you fly or enjoy see flying, you’ll find kindred spirits on our flight line," said Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs.
