Mr. Talaga is has been a successful automotive industry executive for over 40 years, most recently serving as Vice-President of Operations for Cooper-Standard for the last 12 years. At Cooper Standard, Talaga was responsible for operations in North America, Europe and a joint venture between Cooper Standard and Nishikawa Rubber Company with financial responsibility exceeding $1 billion, 11 manufacturing plants and over 21,000 employees. Prior to Cooper Standard, Talaga spent 10 years with United Technologies Automotive (UTA) and 10 years with Prestolite where he held various leadership positions ranging from Quality Assurance Manager to General Manager, overseeing multiple facilities and with roles of Plant Manager and Continuous Improvement Director in between. Mr. Talaga will be responsible for all of the Eco-Vehicle Systems operations and will report to Rob Lykins, President.

Talaga, who is based in Union City, Indiana, is an automotive industry veteran with over 40 years of experience and has extensive training in the Toyota Production System and Advanced Quality. He holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and is married with two children.
