Vector Marketing Names Amanda June Sahawneh Campus Recruiting Manager for Vector West
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- Vector Marketing, the sales and marketing arm of Cutco Cutlery, has named Scottsdale resident Amanda June Sahawneh campus recruiting manager for Vector West. Each year, Vector Marketing contracts with tens of thousands of student sales representatives to sell the world’s finest cutlery. It is the largest single recruiter of undergraduate students in the United States.
Vector West covers the western half of the U.S. and includes Alaska, Hawaii and Guam. In her role as Vector West campus recruiting manager, Sahawneh will help local managers develop and execute their campus recruiting efforts. College students are responsible for millions of dollars of Cutco sales annually, and Sahawneh will work with local Vector managers to provide them the best earning opportunities.
“I am excited to have Amanda as part of the campus recruiting team. Her background of supporting Vector managers with their recruiting efforts throughout Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona will help her greatly in developing our campus recruiting programs in Vector West,” said Helen Brown, Vector’s academic outreach manager. “It is an exciting time for recruiting on college campuses. We recruit for a position that allows students to gain valuable skills while in school.”
Sahawneh started with Vector in 2007 as a recruiting assistant in the company’s Scottsdale office. In 2010, she was promoted to division recruiting manager and has since worked on recruiting for the Rising Sun, Rocky Mountain, Great Plains, Southern Rock and Southern Tide divisions. She has also worked on branding and social media outreach with Vector’s digital strategy department.
Sahawneh says she is thrilled to have a bigger impact on the company’s recruiting efforts. She says Vector’s pay, skills training and flexibility give opportunities to people at many different stages of life, including retirees, stay-at-home mothers, sales executives and students.
“It’s not a cookie-cutter kind of job, because we are working with college students and others who don’t have a cookie-cutter lifestyle,” Sahawneh said. “The opportunity that Vector offers can be applicable to anyone. It has endless routes to success.”
