RBMA Marketing Conference Rebranded as SPARK
Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) August 25, 2017 -- When marketing leaders connect in person, there is a SPARK. Innovative ideas are exchanged and new inspiration takes hold. This is why the Radiology Business Management Association is renaming its popular Building Better Radiology Marketing Programs conference SPARK.
“This was a perfect time to rebrand as the RBMA is engaged in a larger effort to redesign its offerings to better serve its members,” said 2018 SPARK Committee Chair Dianne Keen. “SPARK is more than a new name. For 2018, we are refocusing on what makes the annual conference for radiology marketers so valuable to attendees, including fostering the spark that happens when high-energy marketers meet and collaborate face to face.”
The 2018 SPARK conference will be held June 3-6, 2018, in Nashville, Tenn. It has been extended half a day to include additional educational options, including two pre-conference deep-dive sessions on Sunday, June 3, and a Tuesday, June 5, closing celebration at B.B. King’s Blues Club in Nashville.
New at SPARK is a range of offerings to address the needs of both experienced radiology marketers and marketers just entering the field. For example, one of the two deep-dive sessions will be a physician liaison bootcamp ideal for new physician liaisons who need sales training in the highly specialized field of radiology.
The conference also includes the Quest awards, the oldest and most well established competitive awards program for achievements in radiology marketing. Keeping the awards fresh and relevant, there will be new categories and a longer window of time to submit nominations.
“The Quest awards draw in some of the best examples of radiology practice marketing and provide ideas and inspiration that all attendees benefit from,” Keen said. “With our 2018 June dates, submitting a Quest award nomination in time for the SPARK conference is easier. Plus, new Quest award categories will bring in a broader spectrum of marketing campaigns and ideas. We are encouraging everyone who attends to consider entering for a chance to win.”
The awards will be announced at the closing celebration on June 5. Details on this year’s nominating process will be posted on the RBMA website when ready.
