Linket Obtains US Patent 9792101 for Blockchains and Mobile Uses
(PRWEB) November 07, 2017 -- Linket Corp. has been awarded US Patent 9792101 "Capacity and automated de-install of linket mobile apps with deep link" with 19 claims. ( http://bit.ly/2AlMNZO )
The invention describes how a mobile on demand worker controls their own direct mobile brand, called a Linket, which acts like a domain. The Linket points to a mobile app and the network address of the worker. Mobile users click the Linket to directly interact with the worker via the app, in a streamlined experience.
Interactions between the Linket owner and a user are stored in the blockchain. Producing verified social network data that can enhance the usefulness of Facebook and LinkedIn.
The patent lets the blockchain be used to schedule events. A gig worker who owns a Linket can subcontract a gig to another worker who can verify details in the blockchain. The Linket owner can scale to a 365x24x7 business.
A blockchain can have its own Linket brand. This anticipates when there are competing blockchains and branding becomes vital.
Chief Marketing Officer Susan Kessler says -
"There is a lot of kerfuffle with blockchains. Many companies are doing ICOs and calling themselves blockchain companies. But aside from using the ICO to raise money, their business intrinsically has little if any to do with blockchains. Several firms are just a skimpy white paper written shortly before ICO. In contrast, Linket's patent is for technology made 2 years ago. The US government has judged that we are first in the world with our blockchain uses. We were awarded a very broad set of 19 claims, a stark contrast to competitors. We have a full technology stack of 13 other patents pending for many mobile branding uses. This includes 2 other pendings that focus on blockchains.
Linket is independent of the mobile app that the linket uses. If the app goes out of business the Linket owner points it to another app. We protect the owner's investment of time and money in the brand. A key distinction of our technology. Other apps that let users have brands have the drawback that the brands live only in those apps."
