Unique High-End Audio Show For People Who Just Love Music
NYC, New York (PRWEB) November 06, 2017 -- Music aficionados from New York City and beyond are in for their yearly treat with the upcoming New York Audio Show from November 10-12, and chance to hear from two extra special guests.
Just for their pleasure, dozens of hotel rooms at the Park Lane Hotel on Central Park South will be stripped bare so they emulate a family lounge room or home theatre setting.
Nowhere else in the city can music lovers appreciate more than 60 brands from the world’s finest audio products plus 40 exhibitors in one place in such an appealing five-star location.
BYO music is encouraged: from hip-hop to classical. It’s the best way to relax, hear and compare preferred music choices in as natural a home environment as possible.
Visitors to the show can get hands-on experience on all types of gear including speakers, electronics, turntables, headphones, music streamers and computer systems.
Held over two-and-a-half days, it’s a show that allows you to buy equipment, but be under zero pressure to do so.
Roy Bird, CEO of the show organiser, the Chester Group, said he expected the top three things that visitors will want to learn is: how to stream quality audio; the real difference between analog and digital sound; and how beneficial or not hi-fi cables are.
“We know that music lovers come to the show because they care about the quality of sound reproduction and they want the best they can afford. That’s why it’s important for exhibitors to have the best acoustics possible in each room,” he said.
“All exhibitors ensure experts are on hand to address any questions; for example, how-to set up a sound system, stream music around the home, turn a computer into a high-end audio source, and control everything from a smartphone and tablet.”
A huge drawcard for visitors to the New York Audio Show will be recording experts Jim Anderson and Ulrike Schwarz of Anderson Audio New York, who have between them more than 60 years’ experience in producing and engineering music in many genres.
“It’s high end audio welcoming high-end music recording and production,” said Bird. “As international organisers the Chester Group is aware of the increasing overlap in these two markets, particularly with manufacturers. Visitors can expect a rolling and top-level demonstration of their expertise over the three days of the show.”
Top brands on show include: Alta Audio, AudioQuest, Definitive Technology, Denon, Krell, LG, Luxman, MarkAudio-SOTA, Oppo Digital, Salamader Designs, Sony, Technics, Triangle and exhibitors include Audio Prana, Sonner Audio, Value Electronics and Woodbridge Stereo Video.
This hugely popular event and the only one in New York City attracts thousands of visitors each year, and in its sixth year it returns to the same and excellent venue.
