SportsEngine Acquires BracketPal to Power Beach Volleyball Leagues and Events
MINNEAPOLIS (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- SportsEngine, a division of NBC Sports Group, today announced that it has acquired BracketPal, the leading beach volleyball league and tournament management software company. The BracketPal team joins forces with Advanced Event Systems (AES), which was acquired by SportsEngine in 2015, to further add to SportsEngine's comprehensive suite of volleyball technology.
Since its launch in 2010, BracketPal has been used by leagues and tournaments across the country, including USA Volleyball, Rox Volleyball Series, Junior Volleyball Association, Juniors Beach Volleyball League, American Beach Tour, Eastern Sand Power League, Beach Volleyball Clubs of America, and Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) First. BracketPal offers its clients online results tracking for parents, players and recruiters, support for publishing results to SeedingPal.com, same day registrations, automated scheduling, and supports popular formats like “Best of the Beach.”
“When Advanced Events Systems joined SportsEngine, our goal was to put together the most comprehensive solution for volleyball organizations. Over the past 18 months, we’ve had more volleyball programs join SportsEngine than any other period in our history,” said Justin Kaufenberg, co-founder and chief executive officer at SportsEngine. “To best service all volleyball customers, specifically those with growing beach volleyball programs, we knew we’d need to offer a product that meets their unique needs. BracketPal is the most powerful solution on the market, and we’re thrilled they are joining our team.”
The SportsEngine platform is used by more than 750,000 sports organizations, teams, leagues, clubs, associations, and tournaments to grow and promote their organizations, communicate with millions of athletes and parents, and manage competition.
"Joining SportsEngine gives us the resources we need to deliver BracketPal to every beach volleyball league and event” added Jesse Gumm, BracketPal founder. “Together with AES and SportsEngine, we have the most complete suite of technology for volleyball organizations.”
“We’ve used BracketPal and SeedingPal for beach events for the past few years” added Steve Bishop, president and executive director of the Florida Region of USA Volleyball. “These two systems together create the most advanced, turn-key beach event management system available.”
