Braman BMW Is Driven To End Hunger
(PRWEB) November 28, 2017 -- Braman BMW West Palm Beach and Jupiter just concluded its most successful campaign to date in pursuit of ending hunger in South Florida. Over 77,000 meals will be donated to local food banks administered by Feeding America. In partnership with BMW North America, Braman BMW solicited the participation of the local community in the endeavor by donating 200 meals for each test drive that was taken between Monday November 13th through Monday November 20th.
To create excitement and incentive to entice participants, every test driver received a stylish new BMW hat, a chance to win a trip for two to Boston - including Round-Trip air fare, hotel accommodations and tickets to the iHeart Jingle Ball Music Festival – and a $1,000 cash certificate for the purchase or lease of any new BMW through year end.
Tracy Hibshman, a new Club Braman member, won the prized trip and ecstatically proclaimed “We are so excited! This will be plastered all over my Facebook page with lots of pictures!” Tracy plans to take her high school senior daughter Taryn to not only have fun at the festival but to scout some colleges while there.
“This form of community engagement is very motivating to our customers and our staff,” stated Stephen Grossman, General Manager of Braman Motorcars. “It binds us as a community when good people come together to make magic for those of us in need, especially around the holidays as we kick off Braman’s largest season of giving.”
In 2016, Braman Motorcars provided 22,600 meals in a similar campaign headed by Braman Brand Ambassador Celine Pelofi. “It was amazing last year as too what a great program like Feeding America can do with just a little help,” says Pelofi. “Our hearts were warmed by so many participating.”
This year’s community participation was three-fold with over 55,000 more meals than last year’s campaign. “Incredible,” said Grossman. “It just goes to show how wonderful the Palm Beach County community is and how we can all get together to help those in need. We plan to make this our biggest season of giving as we end 2017,” he continued. “Too often, the holidays become about things instead of actions,” stated Carol Strickland, Area Manager for BMW. “We can all reflect on what a great thing we have done here,” she concluded.
