HyperGrid Continues Momentum with Bookings and Customer Acquisitions Doubling in 2017 Compared to 2016
SAN JOSE, Calif. (PRWEB) January 30, 2018 -- HyperGrid, the Enterprise Cloud-as-a-Service leader, today announced that its continued momentum, with significant customer adoption in several important new vertical markets along with the maturing of its global partner network, contributed to bookings more than doubling in the fourth quarter of 2017 compared to 2016. In 2017 contract ARR (annual recurring revenue) also grew 20X. In addition to skyrocketing bookings, new software capabilities and multiple awards and accolades, HyperGrid also recently appointed a new VP of Sales to guide continued growth in the Americas.
“We continue to see significant adoption of our platform in the enterprise and the MSP markets. We have more than doubled our customer acquisitions. The average sale price has also more than doubled. We also reached additional milestones such as our first Fortune 50 customer, first Federal customer, and, on the back of our European growth, our first FTSE 250 customer,” said Nariman Teymourian, CEO of HyperGrid. “Also encompassed within this growth is our expansion into several important new vertical markets, including technology, telecoms, finance, education, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and education, along with the addition of new managed service provider accounts.”
In December 2017, HyperGrid appointed Dean Beaver as VP of Sales for the Americas. Beaver brings to this position some 28 years sales management experience in the network technology field, along with the proven ability to consistently deliver high sales growth and to grow talent with his hands-on mentorship-based leadership style.
The past year saw HyperGrid win a number of industry awards and accolades, including an SVC award for Cloud Management Product of the Year. The company’s HyperCloud™ Portal, part of the industry’s only “pay-as-you-use” multi-cloud management platform, was also named a finalist in the “Agility and Automation” category in SearchServerVirtualization.com’s Best of VMworld 2017 Awards. Further recognition came from leading channel publication, CRN, which highlighted the company as one of the “Cloud Startups You Need to Know” in its Emerging Vendors 2017 spotlight, a position it cemented in July when it named the company among “The 10 Coolest Startups of 2017.’’
These accolades were preceded by the company’s mid 2017 launch of another significant product development; public cloud experience across any cloud or infrastructure in the form of a new release of HyperCloud™, and the industry’s first pay-as-you-use pricing model.
