Author Barbara Littlepage’s newly released “My Story for His Glory” is the courageous story of her struggle to overcome the fear and shame of her secrets.
WEATHERFORD, Texas (PRWEB) February 12, 2018 -- “My Story for His Glory”: the story of one woman whose secrets allowed fear and shame to hold her back in life. “My Story for His Glory” is the creation of published author, Barbara Littlepage. Barbara was a typical ‘60s girl raised in Arlington, Texas with the Christian values of her parents. She was popular and fun-loving, but very serious about her faith. She worked at the local Grants Department store to earn spending money. After she married her husband, Glenn, and had her three wonderful babies, her life was as normal and orderly as she would make it. Glenn had the idea that his wife would not work. Because extra money was needed, however, Barbara stayed home and cared for other women’s babies while they worked. After twenty-five years of marriage and several college classes, she told Glenn that he had to let her make financial decisions or she would leave. She then started their trucking business, Littlepage Logistics, Inc., by establishing the name, printing business cards, and contacting customers. After twenty-five years of running a successful company, her daddy and momma became very ill, so she spent all of her time caring for them. After they passed away, her daughter was stricken with a stroke and an aneurysm. Barbara was later diagnosed with cancer. Her life eventually returned to normal thanks to the Lord. She has since become a pastor and built her own church.
“Some secrets bring much greater destruction into our lives than if they were revealed. Revealing secret sin is painful, but God uses our honesty to bring a whole new dimension of freedom into our life. Satan will never be able to use that secret sin to hold us in bondage anymore.” --Barbara Littlepage
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Barbara Littlepage’s new book is her story. For almost ten years, author Barbara was told she should write a book about her life. Unable to think of a worthy title, she waited. One beautiful Halloween day at their church, Barbara and her son, David, were talking. As they talked about his recent separation from his wife, they also discussed her plans to build a new church auditorium. The one she wanted was probably going to cost about $900,000.00, but she did not want to borrow the money. She knew God had provided for their first building and she knew He could do it again. For such a large amount, however, it was hard to see how. David said, "Momma if you will write your stories it will sell."
The following day, she went to the office and started to type. "My story for HIS glory" is the first thing she typed. In “My Story for His Glory,” Barbara Littlepage reveals the secrets that held her back for years. Revealing her secrets took courage, but God's incredible rewards await those who are willing to take the hard steps to live in open honesty. Too many people allow fear and shame to destroy their lives. By sharing her secrets, Barbara Littlepage hopes others will be inspired to free themselves from the chains of secrecy.
