Walking with America Tour Takes On 26 Cities Across The United States
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (PRWEB) March 09, 2018 -- Walking with America (WWA) is Sheryl Lynn’s mission of walking from Key West, FL to San Francisco, CA, all while encouraging others to take their health and happiness into their own hands.
Starting on April 1st, Sheryl will embark on a 6-month journey across the United States igniting participation, laughter, and fun by hosting Healthy Happy Hour (H3) events, getting communities up and out to walk with her, and engaging with youth organizations to inspire healthy lifestyles. Along her route, she will visit 26 cities, decked out in yellow and pushing her stroller Bobbie.
In each city Sheryl and her partners will organize an H3 event. Whether it’s a few friends in a park, café, cookout or a walk along the highway; H3 offers space and time to enjoy being together, create a small community, unplug, and walk together.
As a cornerstone of the WWA campaign, the numerous benefits of walking have been well-researched and documented by numerous doctors and health professionals.
Heidi Simon, Partnerships & Communications Director at AmericaWalks.org, explains these benefits, saying:

Sheryl’s feel-good community of walkers offers a message of support and a call to action, unlocking happiness and health one step at a time--and even better, sharing it with those around you.
