PayTickr Brings Integrated Time Tracking, Payroll and ePayments to Quickbooks Canada
CALGARY, Alberta (PRWEB) April 24, 2018 -- EmployeeAssist Inc. is proud to announce the integration of their PayTickr time tracking and payroll software with Intuit’s Quickbooks Desktop and Online accounting software for Canada.
The integration between PayTickr and Quickbooks allows businesses to fully manage their employee hours, payroll, invoicing and payment in a seamless process. The need for manually entering data between the two has now been eliminated.
PayTickr continues to partner with Winnipeg-based Telpay, to offer seamless direct deposit ePayments for PayTickr clients. Amounts for employees, subcontractors, and CRA government remittances can all be calculated and electronically paid with a click of a button in the PayTickr interface. Telpay’s ePayment system is also integrated with Quickbooks.
There are a number of options as to how the two software systems can integrate, depending on need of the small business user.
“When designing the PayTickr integration with QuickBooks we wanted complete flexibility,” states Brad Rougeau, Paytickr CTO. “For example, 2-way Import & Export of QuickBooks data, support of .iif time tracking files, and 9 different settings for how journal entries can be posted.”
PayTickr time tracking only customers can transfer hours worked by their employees straight to Quickbooks payroll feature, which can be processed there and payments can be made through Telpay’s integration with Quickbooks. These hours-worked reports can alternatively be processed into Quickbooks invoicing feature, where businesses will be able to bill their clients.
PayTickr customers that use both the time-tracking and payroll features can now integrate their payroll journal entries into Quickbooks. EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Payments will still be made through Telpay.

As part of the launch, PayTickr has become part of the Intuit Developer Partner program. The PayTickr app will appear on the Intuit app store in the coming months.
“In addition to our great technical integration with our partners like QuickBooks and Telpay,” adds Kreg MacPhee, PayTickr CEO, “It’s important to be a good partner with their marketing and sales channels. We’ll continue this philosophy as we grow into the U.S. small business market starting in 2019.”
PayTickr is the simple time tracking and payroll solution for business with mobile workforces. The PayTickr Time Tracking mobile app is a “digital punch card” that allows employees to punch in and out anywhere from their phone and includes GPS. PayTickr Payroll Software uses the employee digital punch cards to process payroll according to a schedule or by the click of a button. All overtime and vacation calculations are handled, and all remittances and government taxes are calculated. The software handles paystubs, T4’s, ROE’s, extensive reporting, and employee work and location logs.
