Greenberg Traurig’s Mary-Olga Lovett to Speak at the 2018 Corbin Leadership Forum Conference
NEW YORK (PRWEB) April 30, 2018 -- Mary-Olga Lovett of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will be participating in a panel at the 2018 Corbin Leadership Forum Conference, April 30, at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point. This year, the Corbin Forum’s theme is “From Toleration to Celebration,” and will focus on discussions about the evolution and future of women's leadership and experiences in traditionally male dominated environments.
Lovett will participate in the Athena Rising Mentorship Panel. Fellow panelists include David Smith and W. Brad Johnson, co-authors of Athena Rising: How and Why Men Should Mentor Women, and Dr. Susan Carter, Assistant Professor in the Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis at the United States Military Academy.
According to their website, the Corbin Forum’s mission is to educate, empower, and inspire the Corps of Cadets to serve as commissioned leaders of character by facilitating discussion of gender specific issues. The event will include West Point cadets, staff, and faculty as well as guest students from various colleges and universities.
Lovett is the co-regional operating shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Texas offices and is a founding member of Greenberg Traurig’s Women’s Business Forum, which she has hosted twice including this past year for its 10th anniversary. This year’s forum featured themes about women in male dominated environments, and a men’s workshop with W. Brad Johnson and David Smith entitled “Effectively Mentoring and Managing Women in the Workforce.”
Lovett concentrates her practice in intellectual property, commercial and complex litigation. In 2017, Lovett was selected “Best in Patent” by Euromoney Legal Media Group for its Americas Women in Business Law Awards.
