U.S. Career Institute Launches Online Diploma Program for Home-School Students
Home-schoolers now have the option of enrolling in a remote high school program through USCI. The general and career-driven programs offer the academic support needed to succeed academically and professionally.
FORT COLLINS, Colo., July 26, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- USCI High School, a division of U.S. Career Institute, has added flexible online high school diploma programs for homeschoolers and other nontraditional students.
Enrollment is open now for this new online learning option, which features a comprehensive curriculum that's self-paced to meet the needs of students studying at home.
USCI High School's goal is "to provide a flexible, student-centered education that is accredited and aligned to academic standards and taught and supported by highly qualified and certified, experienced instructors in each content area," said Megan Bowen, Director of USCI High School.
While more families and their high school students have made the switch to home-schooling in recent years, many find that they're not fully equipped to develop and implement a learning program on their own, especially at the secondary level. USCI's remote high school learning options are designed to support home-school students in their education and lessen the burden of homeschooling on families.
"Home-schooled students and families need a strong support system," said Janet Perry, Vice President of Academics at U.S. Career Institute. "Most home-school parents/educators are not experts in each high school topic. This is where USCI's high school can help. USCI's content is developed by subject-matter experts. That means, for example, math experts designed all of the math classes. Plus, each course is taught by a credentialed teacher in the subject area."
USCI High School students can choose to earn a general high school diploma or pursue one of five career pathways: business, health care, fitness, paralegal or veterinary. Each pathway provides an introduction to the chosen field, allowing students to get a taste of their potential future career.
All USCI High School programs include course materials, tuition and learning support from skilled instructors at one affordable price, without any hidden fees. Financing options are available.
