Explorys Continues to Experience Rapid Growth, Adds Three Healthcare IT Executives to Its Leadership Team
Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- Explorys, the leader in big data-driven healthcare transformation, today announced three additions to its leadership team: Greg Yarrington as Vice President of Operations, Adam Wallace as Vice President of Engineering, and Patrick Wells as Vice President of Solutions. These new leaders are part of Explorys’ plan to add 80 new jobs in 2015 to support client demand for the company’s big data analytics platform, expansion of its platform-as-a-service offerings, and growth of its partner network.
Since the company was founded in 2009, Explorys has doubled its workforce year-over-year in order to meet the growing demand for its cloud-based healthcare big data platform. In the past 12 months, Explorys has gained significant momentum, adding 8 new clients to its national network consisting of 26 major healthcare networks, delivering care to 50 million unique patients at 360 hospitals by 317,000 providers who collectively deliver $69 billion in care annually.

As Vice President of Operations, Gregory Yarrington will lead groups responsible for innovation for operations, system/network engineering, and information security. Mr. Yarrington was previously Vice President of Technology Services at Truven Health Analytics and Thomson Reuters’ Healthcare division where he drove advancements in optimization and data center transformation and efficiency. He has also led technology programs at the University of Michigan Health System and Medical Center. Mr. Yarrington holds a Master of Health Care Administration degree from University of Michigan, a Master of Business Administration degree from State University of New York, a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
Adam Wallace joins as Vice President of Engineering and will be responsible for driving technology development and sustaining process-driven engineering practices. Prior to joining Explorys, Wallace held leadership positions at Oracle, BEA, MRI software, and Flashline where he led a wide range of areas including technology strategy, software engineering, services-oriented-architecture (SOA), quality assurance, program management, release engineering, and hosting operations. Mr. Wallace earned his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University and Master’s of Management and Information Systems from Case Western’s Weatherhead School of Management. He also has achieved personal industry recognition for his contributions and achievements, having been named one of Computerworld’s “Premier 100 IT Leaders” as well as being chosen by Crain’s Cleveland Business for its “40 under 40” accolade.
As Explorys expands its national base of healthcare systems, Patrick Wells joins as Vice President of Solutions and will be responsible for client services, consulting, and implementation, as well as growing partnerships with 3rd party firms that provide planning, advisory services, integration, rapid deployment, and on-going advanced support to enterprise subscribers of the Explorys Platform. Mr. Wells comes to Explorys from Deloitte where he was responsible for implementing solutions to improve Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) initiatives and delivering cybersecurity, information security and information technology governance. Mr. Wells has also held leadership roles at CCH-Axentis and McKesson where he managed high growth product and services lines prior to joining Deloitte. Mr. Wells holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University.
