InventHelp Inventor Designs Safer Scooter Ramp For Physically Handicapped Individuals (BRK-2074)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 27, 2015 -- As a physically handicapped person, an inventor from Birmingham, Ala., relies on a scooter to get around, and he knows the difficulty and risk involved with backing scooters up ramps. "In order to streamline this process I conceived of an improved ramp," he said. "Then I created a prototype of my idea."
The patent-pending SCOOTER RAMP GUARD enhances ease and safety when rolling a handicap-assistance scooter into and out of a vehicle. This minimizes stress on the rear wheels, as well as helps prevent rear wheels from slipping the ramp sides, which avoids injuries. As a result, the improved ramp promotes peace of mind and independence. It also can be used for power chairs, ATVs, lawn mowers, motorcycles, etc.
The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
