Roger King’s New Book Aims to Create ‘Warriors of Love’
WAKEFIELD, England (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- Author Roger King felt a deep regret after he kept secret from his lover a recent affair. In King’s new book “Warrior Love: In a Changing World” (published by Balboa Press), he encourages readers to be honest with themselves and their partners, to become what he refers to as “warriors of love.”
“Could humanity make a paradigm shift and add to monogamy the ability of being polyamorous?” King asks in his new book. “Could we ‘come out’ and experience being honestly in love with more than one person at the same time? Could men especially be more open and honest? We are living longer, we change, our partner changes. As personal growth permeates societies, will open relationships become more the norm? Or will monogamy keep us tied to meeting our changing needs secretly?”
“Warrior Love” is about King’s personal journey of self-discovery through polyamorous explorations with partners. The book tackles a topic he sees as “touchy” in today’s society, but one whose connotation should be changed to reflect its positive effects on people’s lives.
“I want to serve the millions of people who are in more open relationships and those still in secret affairs, and to show we don’t have to separate from our main partner if our emotional and sexual needs change,” King says. “We could learn to be in an even more abundant love with our main partner, if we gave each other authentic responsible freedom to love more than just ourselves.”
