Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- The Land of Kush, a local vegan restaurant in Baltimore City, offering everything from vegan BBQ ribs to vegan crab cakes, received a surprise visit from the legendary Stevie Wonder.
Naijha Wright and Gregory Brown own The Land of Kush vegan restaurant where Stevie wonder dined last weekend.
“I couldn’t believe it. We were in complete shock and awe when we realized that Stevie Wonder made his way into the restaurant. This is a living legend icon,” said Wright.
“Wonder said he had recently started eating a vegetarian diet,” Brown shared. “I’ve been a Stevie Wonder fan since knee-high to a grasshopper as my father would say. It’s great that people have the ability to look you up on the Internet, get to your location and try your food out. It was very exciting.”
Mr. Wonder tried several items on the menu including the signature Kush BBQ Ribz. The food must have hit the right note because he came back for more the very next day.
“Stevie took pictures with everybody,” Brown said. “He is a very nice guy.”
According to the restaurant owners, Mr. Wonder also has a sweet tooth and took a few vegan cupcakes and cookies to go.
