Jackie Evancho and Sir James Galway Headline Tim Janis, The American Christmas Carol at Carnegie Hall–Honoring Music of Hope & Kate Winslet’s Golden Hat Foundation
New York, New York (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Multi platinum artist Jackie Evancho, whose gorgeous, soprano voice has won the hearts of millions, and flute virtuoso Sir James Galway join internationally-renowned composer Tim Janis for The American Christmas Carol, an inspiring and memorable evening, celebrating and supporting music education and those living with autism at Carnegie Hall, Isaac Stern Auditorium on December 5th, 2013 8pm.
The diverse lineup for this Christmas spectacular continues with a special appearance by Lady Jeanne Galway and also includes performances by Dove Award-winning Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, Lumiere from Ireland, The Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra, and The American Christmas Carol choir.
Tim Janis Music of Hope has a strong focus on keeping music in our schools and heightening public awareness of its benefits. Music of Hope’s music education initiative, Celebrate America, is a team effort with Public Television, designed to give students the opportunity to showcase their music programs on local PBS broadcasts and encourage them in their musical aspirations. To date, Celebrate America has had over 24,000 participating students, with all costs donated by Tim Janis, Music of Hope.
