Walking Dead Novelist, Jay Bonansinga, Launches New Entertainment Company Specializing in Groundbreaking Content - MAGNETIK INK
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 28, 2015 -- Jay Bonansinga, the New York Times bestselling author of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead novels, has launched a new entertainment company, MAGNETIK INK, with marketing and branding
creative consultant, Jeff Siegel.
MAGNETIK INK Entertainment specializes in groundbreaking content that is dark, edgy and controversial. Its focus is on the genres of horror, science fiction, fantasy and crime noir. “I’ve always dreamed of being part of an entertainment company that puts out cutting edge and amazing work, but more than that a company that has a tone; dark, edgy, controversial. We’ve got that with MAGNETIK INK,” says Bonansinga.
“Within these genres, MAGNETIK INK promises to explore subject matter that pushes the envelope, raises eyebrows and visits the darker side of the human condition,” says Siegel, a longtime friend and business partner of Bonansinga’s.
In addition to nurturing and introducing new authors, MAGNETIK INK is creating collectible products, publishing new works by Bonansinga, the first being SELF STORAGE, a supernatural thriller that is a moving, suspenseful — and ultimately horrific — journey into the world of addiction and recovery. The story revolves around Johnny Fitzgerald, a lonely, divorced graphic illustrator with a major heroin habit. When Johnny accidentally gets trapped inside a deserted self-storage warehouse with his 6-year-old son, he is forced to face demons both real and imagined. SELF STORAGE is available for pre-sale on the MAGNETIK INK website.
Bonansinga has authored 23 novels, including the Bram Stoker finalist The Black Mariah (1994), the International Thriller Writers Award finalist Shattered (2007), The Sinking of the Eastland (non-fiction, 2004) and the acclaimed YA horror novel, Lucid (2015).
