America’s Preferred Home Warranty Nominated for Prestigious Award
Jackson, MI (PRWEB) December 14, 2016 -- America’s Preferred Home Warranty is proud to have been nominated as one of the 2017 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch. Michigan Celebrates Small Business (MCSB) is the state’s premier awards program celebrating small business excellence.
“I am so pleased to receive this nomination for such a prestigious award that recognizes small business in the state of Michigan,” said Randy Caltrider, Owner and President of America’s Preferred Home Warranty.
A nominee reception was held on December 6th at the University Club of MSU where Keith Brophy, CEO along with Jennifer M. Deamud, COO of the Michigan Small Business Development Center provided nominees with information related to the evaluation and final selection process.
Michigan Celebrates Small Business is designed to shine the spotlight on an economic driver of Michigan’s economy — small businesses. It recognizes small businesses which have demonstrated real accomplishments, and service providers who have rigorously supported their growth. As a vital part of Michigan Celebrates Small Business, the “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Award” recognizes and celebrates the contribution, innovation, and energy of the second-stage companies in the state.
“It is small businesses like America's Preferred Home Warranty that are making a significant difference in our state,” said Jennifer Deamud. “Michigan Celebrates acknowledges growth businesses for their success and commitment to making an impact.”
Eligibility Criteria for Michigan 50 Companies to Watch include the following;

Awardees of the 2017 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch will be publicized in March of 2017.
MCSB is a synergistic program that was founded by organizations that in many of our 50 states too often operate in separate silos. In Michigan, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Michigan Small Business Development Center, the Small Business Administration, the Michigan Business Network, the Edward Lowe Foundation and the Small Business Association of Michigan are all working cooperatively to maximize our impact on the small business community.
