Marshmallow Fun Company Showcases New Ghostbusters Toys at Toy Fair

Marshmallow Fun Company has finalized a new licensing deal with Sony Entertainment that allows the toy industry’s sweetest toy manufacturer to utilize the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man brand in a new line of toys.
“We make Marshmallow shooters. The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is the most iconic marshmallow figure in cinematic history. It’s a natural partnership,” said co-founder Johnny de la Valdene.
“I still remember when great toys like the Ecto-1 and Proton Pack came out in the 80’s. We are extremely proud to be a part of that legacy,” said co-founder Beaver Raymond.
The Dallas, TX toy company is taking its new line of ‘Ghostbusters’ to New York City’s most popular toy show, the annual Toy Fair 2014.
“Toy Fair is the most important trade show of the year for our company. We will set up 75% of our annual business here,” said Raymond.
2014 is proving to be a big year for Marshmallow Fun Company with multiple licensing opportunities that have expanded to the guys from Duck Dynasty with the new Reckoning Series from Duck Commander.
“The Duck Commander license has been a great partnership for us,” said Raymond. “Marshmallow Fun has Duck Commander products in major retail stores like, Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Toy’s R Us. The sell through’s have been exceptional.”
In addition to showcasing the new Ghostbusters toys Marshmallow Fun is releasing a new set of animal shooters. The animal shooters will feature interchangeable ammo types, a first for the company.
The first animal shooter released will be the Beaver Blaster. When you pull back the on its tail, you spring load a small foam ball or marshmallow. After releasing the tail, you can launch the object up to 30 feet. Marshmallow Fun has a lot more exciting critters coming soon.
The 2014 Toy Fair runs from February 16th-19th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at 655 W 34th St, New York, NY 10001.
