HS-UK announce the launch of the Ellex Integre Pro Laser
Harlow, Essex (PRWEB UK) 9 January 2014 -- Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of the Ellex Integre Pro multi-colour, photocoagulation laser.
The Integre Pro is the World’s only multi-colour photocoagulator to offer a choice of red, yellow or green wavelengths in one laser and slit lamp design. With four product configurations and controls conveniently located at the user’s fingertips, the user can adapt the wavelength to best suit their patient population, providing clinical versatility and treatment flexibility.
With a repetition rate of up to 20 shots per second, the Integre Pro allows you to perform treatments both quickly and efficiently. The laser has a high-precision micromanipulator that allows the operator to accurately position focal treatments in the macular area and to paint large areas with multiple spots. This enables quick and easy adjustments to cater for variations in pigment.
Featuring the industry’s highest quality optics and laser components, the Integre Pro delivers a uniform energy distribution across the full diameter of the spot, from the beginning to the end of exposure. The ‘true-spot’ optical system offers a uniform, sharp-edged top-hat beam on the retina with the added benefit of low-power density on the cornea. Any spot size can be selected, ranging from 50 to 1000 microns.
Jacqui Kenyon, HS-UK Product Manager, said, “The Integre Pro offers better depth perception, optimum illumination of the fundus and a wider peripheral view, making it the industry’s leading system for the diagnosis and treatment of retinal disease.”
The Integre Pro will replace the former Integre, Integre Duo and Integre Yellow products. For more information, please contact HS-UK on (01279) 456255, or email integrepro(at)haag-streit-uk(dot)com.
