National Association of Professional Women Announces Karen Mingain, Director, Consulting at HealthNET Systems Consulting, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in project management, healthcare systems implementations, meaningful use, HIE, patient portal and ICD-10 revenue cycle risk management. As a consultant at HealthNET, Ms. Mingain oversees projects at a number of hospital systems and enjoys the challenge of working with people from all aspects of the healthcare arena. Her sense of professionalism, tireless work ethic and keen understanding of the industry, combined with her enthusiasm for what she does, have all helped to make Ms. Mingain a leader in her field.
The changing scope of the healthcare industry has further ignited Ms. Mingain’s passion for her work and she looks forward to broadening her understanding of business intelligence and predictive analytics. “I cannot wait to see where this technology takes healthcare reporting,” she says.
