Pacific Quest Announces the Hiring of Jennifer Marrero, LPC as a Primary Clinician
Hilo, HI (PRWEB) November 29, 2013 -- As a world renowned therapeutic wilderness program for struggling adolescents and young adults, Pacific Quest is pleased to welcome Jennifer Marrero, LPC as a Primary Clinician. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sonoma State University and a dual Masters in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. Jennifer is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Gender Studies.
Prior to joining the Pacific Quest clinical team, Jennifer worked as a Lead Psychotherapist for an outpatient mental health clinic working with children, adolescents and adults with sexually maladaptive behaviors. Jennifer also has experience working as an adjunct professor in the behavioral science and psychology departments at Argosy University and Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. Jennifer has experience providing individual and couples therapy and is respected for her work with gender identity, trauma, and sexual abuse.
Jennifer is a nationally certified counselor and clinical member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) as well as the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).
