Carolyn Presley, M.D. MHS is a thoracic and geriatric oncologist, specializing in the treatment of older adults with lung cancer. Dr. Presley received her medical training at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and completed her Master of Health Science at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Presley is an assistant professor in medical oncology at the James Thoracic Oncology Center, The Ohio State University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on optimizing patients' functional status and maximizing quality of life for older adults with lung cancer. Dr. Presley research has been published in numerous journals, including JAMA, Journal of Clinical Oncology and the Journal of Geriatric Oncology. In addition, she serves as a member in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Cancer and Aging Research Group and the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Presley also works as a peer reviewer for journals such as the Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, The Journal of Geriatric Oncology, the Journal of Cancer Survivorship and The Oncologist.

He is affiliated with the New Hanover Regional Medical Center and serves as the Director of the Multi-Disciplinary Lung Program.
