Four new directors were appointed to the Board of Directors beginning October 1; new officers fill Board leadership roles
WASHINGTON, Oct. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The SCORE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SCORE, the nation's largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, today announced that four new directors were appointed to the Board of Directors beginning October 1st-- the start of the organization's fiscal year. In addition, the Board voted in a new slate of officers to fill Board leadership positions.
New directors joining the Foundation Board include:
Beth Wood, currently EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Principal Financial Group;
Scott Harkins, currently SVP FedEx Marketing;
John McCloskey, former aviation industry CEO and current SCORE mentor; and,
Joseph Newcomb, former medical device industry General Counsel/CFO and current SCORE mentor.
New Foundation Officers include:
Patricia Loftus, Chair and Secretary
Scott Harkins, Vice Chair
John McCloskey, Treasurer
In addition to the new Board members, Gale Murray, former Vice President of Advertising for The Business Journals, a part of American City Business Journals; and, Payton Iheme, currently Head of Public Policy, Americas at Bumble, continue their tenure as Board Directors.
