The RK Group Welcomes New Director of Event Production and Design, John Wheeler

Wheeler brings to The RK Group a grand vision for creating and orchestrating exceptional event experiences. He will be contributing his design and style expertise to RKD Studio, an integrated event design service of The RK Group launching in the Summer of 2015. Wheeler joins The RK Group Director of Visual Communications, Joel Tarasiuk, in the development of thematic concepting and design for distinguished brands and enterprises. Also, Wheeler will be supporting the partnership between The RK Group and San Antonio Hill Country JW Marriott by designing highly entertaining Texas experience client programs for the popular luxury resort.
Wheeler is highly regarded in the event industry for his sophisticated design sensibility and engaging entertainment vision. He brings a vast level of experience in producing interactive themes and experiential events from his twenty-year tenure in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. Previous positions include; management experience with premier DMC Destinations by Design and hotels, Caesar’s Palace, Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Wynn/Encore. He is adept at producing high-end entertainment for renown celebrities, dignitaries, VIP’s, meeting and social event planners that align with the current clients of The RK Group.
