Newton, NC (PRWEB) November 09, 2013 -- Abernethy Laurels is excited to announce their annual holiday food show titled, "Christmas in Paris." The event will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 11am-3pm in the Community Center at Abernethy Laurels, a continuing care retirement community located at 102 Leonard Avenue, Newton, NC.
The Dining Services Department at Abernethy Laurels along with several other vendors like Kellogg's, Nabisco, Dannon, Jennie-O Turkey, and General Mills will provide samples of their products. Several vendors will feature French-inspired dishes, cheeses, pastries, and freshly baked baguettes. In addition to the vast array of food, there will be a holiday market with vendors offering handbags, makeup, jewelry and more.
"Our goal for the French-themed event is for guests to feel like they are in Paris enjoying a relaxing afternoon of eating and shopping. With such a large variety of food vendors, no one should leave hungry. The holiday market will also be the perfect place to get a head start on your Christmas list," said Brandon Demmers, Executive Chef at Abernethy Laurels.
