TBN's JCTV Youth Network on the Scene to Cover Three Exciting Summer Christian Music Festivals
(PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- It's shaping up to be a busy August for JCTV, Trinity Broadcasting Network's exclusive music and lifestyle network for teens and young adults. JCTV's production crew will be on the road over the next month to cover three popular music and ministry festivals, filming concert segments by some of Christian music's biggest names, getting back-stage interviews, and catching the spirit of what God is doing among today's young people.
“Christian music festivals have been a summer tradition across America for almost forty years,” said Mark McCallie, JCTV's program director. “And for most of that time we've been criss-crossing America to make sure TBN's viewers get an up-close look at all the action. This year will be no exception as JCTV serves as the exclusive broadcast partner for three of the hottest music festivals around.”
The fun begins August 1st through the 3rd as JCTV is on hand for Monterey, California's Spirit West Coast, considered one of the nation's premier summer Christian music events. Among the over thirty bands and artists bringing their music and worship to the Monterey venue will be the Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adrenaline, Jamie Grace, and the Rhett Walker Band. They'll be joined by inspirational speakers Reggie Dabbs, Bob Lenz, and Al Menconi, along with the outrageous comedy of Bob Smiley and Stephen B.
On August 24th the JCTV crew will make its way to Pasa Robles, California to cover the annual Cantinas Music Festival, featuring the music and worship of Michael W. Smith, Francesca Battistelli, Jason Castro, and the Groovaloos.
Rounding out the month will be one of the nation's largest and most celebrated family music and ministry festivals, T.D. Jakes' MegaFest, August 29th through the 31st in Dallas. JCTV will be the official broadcast partner for MegaFest's MegaYouth Experience, featuring popular gospel recording artists Mali Music, B. Reith, Kierra Sheard, and Tye Tribbett, along with challenging youth and urban ministry speakers Dharius Daniels, Chris Durso, and John Grav.
“Every summer over the past nearly four decades, TBN has been on the road to cover the best in ministry and music across the nation,” said TBN Vice President Matthew Crouch. “Today's generation of musicians and ministers are among the most talented and impacting I've ever seen. We're excited to be on the scene to catch all the action of these great festivals for our TBN and JCTV viewers.”
