Ed Young Welcomes Marcus Luttrell, Decorated Navy SEAL and Author of The New York Times Best-Selling Book Lone Survivor, to Fellowship Church
Grapevine, Texas (PRWEB) August 02, 2013 -- Ed Young and Fellowship Church are welcoming American hero Marcus Luttrell this Saturday and Sunday at all eight Fellowship Church locations. As part of this special weekend service, Pastor Young will be interviewing Mr. Luttrell, a combat-decorated former Navy SEAL and author of the book Lone Survivor.
Pastor Young says of the weekend, “Marcus Luttrell is an American hero with a story that is absolutely amazing. It’s a story that touches at the very heart of who we are and reminds us all about the cost of freedom. And it’s a story that can help us all understand how true sacrifice and commitment are prerequisites for a life we all want to experience.”
This memorable weekend begins Saturday night at Fellowship Church locations throughout Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami, Florida and Columbia, South Carolina and continues with identical services on Sunday, August 4.
Marcus Luttrell is a combat decorated former Navy SEAL, a #1 best-selling author, and is touring with the Patriot Tour across the country, telling his story and stories of other heroes as well. His first book, Lone Survivor, is the firsthand account of one of the most tragic special forces operations in our nation’s history, Operation Red Wings.
