First-Half Doral Screen Enclosure Sales Push Residential Volume for Venetian Builders, Inc., Past 2012 Annual Total in that City, Company President Says
Miami, FL (PRWEB) September 04, 2013 -- It might look like any other screen enclosure, but a Venetian Builders, Inc., swimming pool screen that uses heavier-gauge framing adds strength, a big reason sales of its pool enclosures have risen for the company in Doral and elsewhere in South Florida this year, Venetian President Chris Noe said today.
“Already this year, our residential sales in Doral have surpassed those for all of 2012,” Noe said, “and that’s on the strength of our pool enclosure volume. People in South Florida think about framing strength, especially during the named-storm season.”
Venetian custom-designs and installs aluminum sunrooms, patio covers, patio roofs and screen pool enclosures in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, the Keys and all other South Florida communities. It is on pace this year to increase its residential sales over 2012 by nearly 150 percent, Noe said.
Homeowners want pool screening primarily to keep out insects and other nuisances, even errant golf balls, Noe said. “And although homeowners like their pool domes to look elegant, they want them to stand strong in the face of hurricanes and tropical storms,” Noe said. “Heavier-gauge aluminum framing members help pool screens do both. To the casual eye, heavier-gauge framing looks as elegant as lesser framing, but underneath the pretty face of our swimming pool screen enclosures is a thick skin.”
Heavier-gauge framing can reduce the need for “K” bracing in corners, Noe added, preserving views.
“We’re experienced at building not just to meet code, but to surpass it,” Noe said. “And we’re experts at meeting regulations for high-wind areas. We know how to build strong for lots along lakes, ponds, canals, parks and golf courses.”
Noe said Venetian also uses heavy-duty stainless steel fasteners, extra-strong anchors and properly engineered, custom-fabricated gussets to achieve pool screen strength.
“Customers recognize our advantages, and that’s coming back to us in increased sales,” he said.
Venetian, which sells direct to consumers and through 41 South Florida Home Depot stores, offers free estimates that are written and detailed. It also brings its mobile showroom to customers who request a free at-home consultation.
