Sierra Trading Post Creates Instant Store Credit, Makes Returns Even Easier for Customers
Cheyenne, WY (PRWEB) September 27, 2013 -- Sierra Trading Post has long been heralded by customers for a stellar, 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed policy. Now the top Internet retailer is offering Instant Store Credit and free shipping when customers process an exchange or replacement order online.
Generating online store credit for an exchange or return never has been easier, explains Sierra Trading Post Customer Experience Manager Cameron Elkin.
“From your order history, you can choose the item to exchange or return, print a return label and generate an Instant Store Credit with free shipping both ways on the replacement order using the credit,” Elkin says. “Your return and exchange product just cross each other in transit with no unnecessary waiting time or additional shipping expense to you.”
The store credit can be used immediately – before the product is physically returned to Sierra Trading Post – or up to six months later, provided Sierra Trading Post receives the returned item within 10 days. If the credit isn’t used within six months, a merchandise store credit is issued on the remaining balance. If Sierra Trading Post doesn’t receive the returned item(s) within 10 days and the credit is used, the customer’s credit card is charged for the product that was ordered through the exchanges and returns process just like a normal online order.
“Our aim with the new online Instant Store Credit exchange and return process is to make it easier for customers to exchange or replace items that just didn’t quite work for them,” Elkin notes. “Customers are telling us it’s easy, convenient and just couldn’t be simpler. We see our updated process as a win-win for both Sierra Trading Post and our customers.”
