VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System Veteran Centered Care Award Ceremony
Ann Arbor (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 -- VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) will celebrate being the first healthcare organization in the United States to be awarded Planetree Silver Merit recognition for Significant Advancement in Patient-Centered Care with a special award ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2014, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon. The ceremony will be held in the VAAAHS auditorium, located at 2215 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor. The event will feature remarks from VA Leadership including the Veterans Health Administration’s Acting Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management and the Director of the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation as well as a presentation of the Planetree Silver award.

McDivitt, Army Veteran and Director of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. “Our staff are deliberate in making sure that Veterans’ desires are incorporated into their treatment plans. We are very proud of the fact that Veterans are involved in the decision making process at VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System.”
