Greenberg Traurig’s Lucia A. Dougherty Named to 2014 ‘Power Leaders’ in Commercial Real Estate by South Florida Business Journal

Dougherty, shareholder and co-chair of the Land Development & Zoning Practice at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been named to the 2014 “Power Leaders” list in the Commercial Real Estate category by the South Florida Business Journal. The annual list recognizes the top 100 players helping to shape the South Florida region’s thriving business landscape.
At Greenberg Traurig, Dougherty focuses her law practice on representing major developers in securing governmental approvals for large-scale residential, commercial, mixed use, and/or retail projects before various municipal and county governments. She was named the "Empress of the Skyline" by South Florida CEO magazine because of her representation of numerous high-rise projects in Miami and Miami Beach. Dougherty has served as the legal counsel to the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau since 1988, and was the Chairman of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Archbishop's and Charities Drive for Dade County.
