Miller Public Adjusters Becomes an Accredicted Business Member of Florida Better Business Bureau
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- On November 14, Miller Public Adjusters was officially accepted into membership at the Florida Better Business Bureau as an Accredited Business Member, highlighting the firm's high ethical standards and dedication to honest, transparent business practices.
To become an Accredited Business Member of Florida's chapter of the Better Business Bureau, a business must have and maintain a rating higher than a B -- currently, Miller Public Adjusters has an A rating, says David Miller, Owner and Licensed Public Adjuster. The Florida BBB also requires its members to have been a business operating in the state of Florida for at least a year, and to be free from any pending government action or litigation.
"To be in the BBB, companies must be invited after going through rigorous background checks and meeting certain specific ethical criteria," Miller explains. "Being stringent means that the BBB can maintain its high standards. Miller Public Adjusters is also an accredited member, meaning we voluntarily applied and therefore agree and adhere to the organization's strict standards regarding ethics."
Ethics play a major role in the work that Miller, a licensed public adjuster himself, and his partners at Miller Public Adjusters do every day for their clients. Public adjusters are responsible for negotiating and adjusting insurance claims for their clients, whose properties are often the victims of natural disasters, fire damage, or water damage insurance claims covered in homeowner's insurance policies.
Miller says that his firm's membership in the BBB will give more people access to trustworthy information about what a public adjuster can do.
