Annapolis Red Hot & Blue Sponsors Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival For 17th Consecutive Year
Annapolis, Maryland (PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- Red Hot & Blue Restaurant franchise owner, Chris Keller, announced that the Annapolis, Maryland restaurant has agreed to sponsor the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival for the 17th consecutive year. “We are tied to this event because of its location, the music style (genre) and that the organizer is local and helping local charities,” said Keller.
The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday May 17, 2015 at Sandy Point State Park, Annapolis, Maryland. Gates open at 10:30 am with performances scheduled from 11:00am-9:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am-8:00pm on Sunday. The festival is a rain or shine event to raise money for local charities such as: We Care And Friends; Special Love for Children with Cancer; Camp Face; and The League for People with Disabilities. The Red Hot & Blue barbecue restaurant and caterer provides meals for all the festival entertainers and their staff. In addition, they feed over 500 VIP attendees twice a day for the two-day event. Keller explained, “We were involved the first year of the event and will always be a sponsor as long as the festival continues. The event is a natural tie to the Blues theme of our restaurant. The festival is a celebration of Blues acts in a beautiful setting on the Chesapeake, and the local charities and our BBQ, [are] the best!
