Hip-Hop Artist Jamall Robinson Aka J Net Releases New EP
Oakland, CA (PRWEB) April 21, 2015 -- Hip-hop artist Jamall “J Net” Robinson has released his first single. Leave Me Alone (feat. Milli Ali) his kid brother Jhamel “Milli Ali” Robinson, the recording was made in popular impresario Rob E’s local studio for release after the EP.
J Net’s techno hip-hop sound showcases smooth talk, a polished presentation and infectious hooks that gets people dancing, says music reviewers. They add that the singer has built quite a fan base doing just private engagements. This recording promises to make his work known to a broader public by offering up his true feelings and talking about how he feels on the inside something a bite more personal. He is letting the world know how he feels. More importantly he talks about wanting to be left alone by some media outlets who target him. Say's Robinson.
“I’m pleased to be able to bring my own style to the music scene,” says J Net. “But there’s one good buddy who won’t be able to share the thrill with me and I want him to be alive through my music.”
The reference is to Michael “Dolo” Taylor Jr., a friend gunned down in December of 2012 outside a San Francisco Bay Area building where J Net kept a business office. The event proved to be a life changer, one which got J Net moving forward with the recording of this first song and other things.
“Dolo had urged me to do this, and I figure I owe his spirit at least that much,” he adds.
Born and Raised in Oakland California, Jamall Robinson (aka “J Net”) spent much of his youth learning about business. He was in fact well on his way to a commercial career, with a small paralegal firm to his name along with a thriving credit repair software agency and even a start-up film production company which he has already released his first feature film “ The Cool Kids “ (2015). His current Calabasas, CA address reflects his success.

But still only 29 years old, J Net half-jokingly says he’s ready for true success.
“If some see me as being a bit too cocky they’re only misinterpreting my joy at connecting with audiences who know and appreciate the hip-hop genre i’m not cocky at all I’m just very confident in my self,” Robinson says.
Signed to Indian Rock Universal he has one more Full Album to complete his contract and he will be a free agent says Robinson. He is looking forward to being independent.
Tour dates are pending.
