PechaKucha Night Portsmouth Announces Lineup of Presenters For Thursday, June 18 at 3S Artspace
Portsmouth, NH (PRWEB) June 05, 2015 -- On Thursday, June 18 PechaKucha Portsmouth will be celebrating its 22nd event at the newly opened 3S Artspace. The evening will be filled with originality, innovation and connection with others, as the seven selected presenters share their work, ideas, and creativity with the audience in the traditional PechaKucha format – twenty images, with twenty seconds for each image. Doors will open at 7:00pm for drinks and chitchat and presentations will begin at 7:30pm. The gathering is free and open to the public, however space is limited so advanced reservations are recommended and can be made online starting June 1at http://www.3Sarts.org. Donations will be accepted. 3S Artspace is located at 319 Vaughan Street in Portsmouth, NH.
The line-up of presenters is a dynamic group with diverse topics that include: Bob Farrell, carpenter and artist; Kristy Martino, co-owner of Haigh + Martino and political activist; Pamela duLong Williams, renowned painter; Kathleen Toomey, vice president of marketing of RiverWorks; Noreen Owens, somatic educator; Kevin Talbot, local nature photographer, and life coach Heidi Bellamente. PechaKucha Night is an international phenomenon, now taking place in over 800 cities around the world. This unique presentation style was devised in Japan in 2003 among enterprising young designers who wanted to meet and network while learning about each others work with the 20 slides, 20 seconds for each image presentation format. It’s concise, appropriately brief, and loads of fun.
The PechaKucha Portsmouth coordinating committee consists of individuals who represent a diverse group of community organizations.
